Dragon Tingsha Cymbals with Case - Longer Sound19124
A beautiful healing tingsha to aid your meditation practices. Tingsha are two small cymbals that are used by Buddhists during offerings, prayer and meditation. The cymbals are joined together by a leather strap and produce a clear ringing tone when struck together. The tingsha create a range of sounds to help restore the normal vibratory frequencies of diseased and out-of-harmony parts of the body, mind and soul.
The tingsha chimes are individually sand cast using a variety of metals and the casting includes a decoration showing two dragons. Each cymbal is approx 7.7cm across. Superior tingshas are made of seven or more metal bell alloys, producing a powerful harmonic resonance when played. Tingshas are also used in Feng Shui to clear the energy present in a room and to 'open it' by sounding the tingshas in the four corners of a room. A great way to clear energy when smudging is not appropriate.
These cymbals have been carefully crafted using the ancient Tibetan method of sand-casting. After the casting process is complete, each pair are individually hammered around their outer rim until they produce an identical pitch. The sound from these tingsha will last longer and have a continous sound when struck, slowly fading into silence long after they have been struck. The tingsha will come presented inside a beautiful orange and red embroidered zip case. *Please note: the design and colour of each case may vary, but will usually be orange and red in colour. However, other colours can include red and blue.
