8 Auspicious Symbols of Prosperity - Tingsha Cymbals with Case

A beautiful healing tingsha to aid your meditation practices. Tingsha are two small cymbals that are used by Buddhists during offerings, prayer and meditation. The cymbals are joined together by a leather strap and produce a clear ringing tone when struck together. The tingsha create a range of sounds to help restore the normal vibratory frequencies of diseased and out-of-harmony parts of the body, mind and soul.

The tingsha chimes are individually sand cast using a variety of metals and the casting includes a decoration showing the eight auspicious symbols of prosperity. Each cymbal is approx 6.5cm across. To learn more about what the 8 auspicious symbols mean, please click here. Superior tingshas are made of seven or more metal bell alloys, producing a powerful harmonic resonance when played. Tingshas are also used in Feng Shui to clear the energy present in a room and to 'open it' by sounding the tingshas in the four corners of a room. A great way to clear energy when smudging is not appropriate.

These cymbals have been carefully crafted using the ancient Tibetan method of sand-casting. After the casting process is complete, each pair are individually hammered around their outer rim until they produce an identical pitch. The tingsha will come presented inside a beautiful blue and red embroidered zip case. *Please note: the design of each case will vary but will always be blue and red in colour.
